Nimovex ("we", "us") builds apps for merchants on the Shopify platform. This policy explains what information our apps collect when a merchant installs them, how we use it, and the choices merchants and their customers have.
Information we collect
When you install one of our apps, we automatically access certain information from your Shopify account through the Shopify API:
- Store information — shop name, Shopify domain, email, country, currency, timezone, plan and Shopify store ID.
- Merchant information — name, email address and contact details provided by the merchant or Shopify.
- Product information — product and variant titles, prices, inventory, images, tags and identifiers needed to configure and operate the app.
- Customer information — for Nimovex Bid & Auction, customer name, email, Shopify customer ID when available, bid history and auction participation.
- Auction and order information — product or variant selected, bid amount, timestamps, auction status, reserve status, winner status, payment status, draft orders and orders created from winning bids and second-chance offers.
- Technical and support information — IP address, browser and device information, logs, error information and support messages.
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers, CVV codes or other payment credentials. Payment processing is handled by Shopify and its payment infrastructure.
Our website uses the Crisp chat widget for support. Crisp may process chat messages and technical identifiers under its own privacy policy.
How we use information
- To provide the app's features, such as running auctions, sending bid and offer emails, and tracking winner payment.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
- To improve the reliability and performance of our apps.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
Data retention and deletion
We keep store and app data while the app is installed and while needed to provide the service. After a merchant uninstalls, we delete the merchant's store data within 30 days, except where a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or maintain security. Backups may take additional time to expire through normal backup cycles.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run our apps (such as hosting and email delivery), under contracts that require them to protect it, or when required by law.
Data retention
We keep store data while the app is installed. After you uninstall, we delete your store data within 30 days.
Your rights and GDPR requests
We honor Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks:
- customers/data_request — we provide the data we hold about a customer to the merchant.
- customers/redact — we delete the data we hold about a customer.
- shop/redact — we delete all store data 48 hours after uninstall.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or California, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete your personal information. Contact the merchant you shopped with, or contact us directly.
Merchants may request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information that Nimovex holds about them or their customers. Customers should first contact the merchant whose store collected their information. We will verify requests and respond within the time required by applicable law.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website and support widget may use cookies or similar technical identifiers to operate, remember preferences and provide support. You can control cookies through browser settings. Disabling necessary cookies may affect website or chat functionality. Shopify apps use Shopify's own authentication and platform mechanisms.

Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored on infrastructure with access controls. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
